HARAJUKU
HELLO ★
I went for a stroll in Harajuku in search of publicity and new encounters. I carried a large painting that would serve as a billboard, and to cut costs, I traveled by train.
Although many people passed by and took a glance at my work, it was rare for them to stop and talk to me.
but not many people stopped to talk to me.
Maybe they are not interested in art, maybe they do not like this painting, or maybe they do not have the courage to talk to us.
Or maybe they don't have the courage to talk to me. ......
To interact with people you don't know in Japan
And moreover, to get them interested in the painting...
I knew it would be difficult to communicate with people I don't know in Japan
I was keenly aware of how difficult it is to communicate with people who do not know each other in Japan, much less to get them interested in painting.
Mr. Tanaka's life as an artist started on the street,
Even now, as he gains experience and fans grow, he still goes out on his own to do the time-consuming work of painting.
He does not leave the time-consuming work to his assistants.
Although the day's activities could not be said to have been effective, Mr. Tanaka is determined not to be defeated in the midst of the company's recession.
But there are many people who are encouraged by the way the artists are struggling to come up with new ideas even in the midst of the company's recession.
I am sure that there are a few people out there who are encouraged by the sight of the company struggling to come up with a plan even in the midst of a recession.
I myself am one of them.
There are always people who are watching us. Efforts are not in vain.
His works and activities give me such vitality every day.
