Hello☀
The exhibition date is approaching. I've been very busy with production activities and studio layout.
Mr. Tanaka has been very busy with his production activities and studio layout.
Recently, he has been looking especially tired, and I was worried about him.
But as I watched him every day, I made a discovery.
The cause of his fatigue was, as mentioned above, his busy schedule and the pressure and responsibility of being a manager.
and the pressure and responsibility of being a manager.
I felt that this was not the main reason.
There is some consistency or commonality in the timing when fatigue reaches its peak.
There is some consistency or commonality in the timing at which fatigue reaches its peak.
It is “after I finish painting.
You may think, “Of course that's true,
What I am trying to tell you is that
Takuma Tanaka's works have that much energy flowing through them.
The exhausted look on his face when he finishes an oversized painting to be unveiled at the exhibition,
The aura like a strong wind that emanates from his paintings.
Witnessing these two things
I was convinced that this is why his paintings give me so much power.
He has worn down something inside himself and squeezed it out.
I feel that his paintings have a kind of persuasive power because of the energy that he poured into them.
There are many different artists,
There are many artists, and there are many people who are good at drawing and have expressive power.
However, I feel that he has an invisible power that surpasses them by many, many orders of magnitude.
I feel that he has an invisible power that surpasses them by many, many levels.
What is the source of this power, and how is it possible for him to continue to do so?
is still shrouded in mystery.
But that mystery may also attract people to him as an artist.
I think that mystery may also attract people as an artist...
It sounds a little sad and heavy to say “cutting down your life” (^^;)
But it is so much more than that.
The work, which was a challenge in many ways, was finally completed today.
June 8th and 9th will be the last day of the exhibition.
I believe that June 8 and 9 will be a place for Mr. Tanaka to recharge his energy to keep on drawing.
Mr. Tanaka will be able to recharge his energy to continue to paint in the future.
We hope you will all come.
